All this has been done by calling on the Mask..
In theatre, the Mask is a sculpture as much as it is a character.
One does not wear a Mask thoughtlessly but with lightness and precision.
Wearing a Mask involves bringing into play one?s own humanity.
Restoring the Mask?s spectacular place at the heart of life.
Participating in the understanding of the world?s cultures through the Mask.
? Azur & les A?roplanes ? pursues these two objectives through various activities : mask making on commission, training courses for professionals, exhibitions, shows, creative workshops for all.
We will mask them all !

Form and function combine, there are no compromises.
Creaturiste is always seeking good opportunities for creative expression. All his masks are extremely strong yet surprisingly lightweight. They are all meant to last. Each work is a true collaboration between the artist and the patron. From the cute to the gasthly, you can be sure research and passion will come into the mix to achieve the unique result you are after. This artist enjoys a challenge, and welcomes original and outlandish requests. Design-only commissions are welcome.
International orders are encouraged.
Creaturiste masks are expressive, made for performance, comfortable, and adjustable. They are specifically created to withstand the hardships of shows, touring, and even workshops with students.
Most Creaturiste works include paper mache strips in one form or another. This misunderstood category of art material is actually one of the most versatile in existence. The techniques are inspired from old traditions, including Venetian paper maskmaking techniques.
Creaturiste gives creative and technical workshops in maskmaking regularly.

| Description: | David received his B.A. in education from National-Louis University in 1992 after enjoying a successful career as a trader on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange for 10 years. He studied theatre and improvisation at the Players Workshop of the Second City and Victory Gardens Theatre. | Description: | PER BRAHE, Artistic Director of Studio 5 in Brooklyn New York, has been a professional director, writer, actor, teacher and painter since 1967. He is a world-renowned Mask teacher and Master Teacher of Michael Chekhov technique and an expert in Balinese Mask. He taught at Gitis in Moscow and at the International Summer School in Irkusk, Siberia, and has been an invited Master Teacher at the Moscow Art Theatre's celebration of its 100th year anniversary. He is full-time faculty at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and The Actors Center. He is on the faculties at Yale School of Drama, the National Theatre Institute, and the Bill Esper Studio. In 2000 he was the Artistic Director for the Michael Chekhov Conference in Siberia. In 1991 he founded the Michael Chekhov Studio, Aarhus, Denmark. He is the Artistic Director for the annual Bali Conservatory. As a theatre director, he has directed more than 85 plays throughout the world.
