MAKING MASKS: Modifying a hard plastic mask help RSS

    • Alright, i couldnt find much info online so i thought i'd try some forums....Ok here's my situation..This is the mask here:

"as you can see its basically a hard plastic mask. What i want to do is melt plastic over the teeth/nostrils area and mold it down so it looks more so like Predator's face shield rather than a skullface.
I aim to get the mouth region similar to the one on THIS

Is there any specific ways i should go about this, and what type of plastic would be a good choice? One person told me melting down cd jewel cases and then painting over it could be a good move but i'm kind of unsure about what to use to melt it down with as well as how to fuse it to the skullmask. If anyone can help this would be totally awesome..
