    • does anyone know where I can get the wooden dowels with the nice carving for fancy masquerade masks? I can obviously get plain wooden dowels at the hard ware store, but thought there might be a supplier out there who sold the premade sticks...
      Anyone?

    • You could always make friends with a person who has a lathe and ask them to make a fancy dowel rod.

    • Hello.

That is a very good question. I have found a need for the same. Now, I have created a small line of stems for venetian mask making. I design my own out of papier mache. Please contact me if you would be interested in seeing some styles. Unfinished/Natural pieces seem to resemble wood or leather when stained. (No laquer or color) Basic style prices vary from $3.00 to $15.00 each retail. Swirls, Fleur-de-lis, knotwork, dragons, etc. Custom styles and more detailed pieces are higher priced. Wholesale orders are welcomed for 1 doz. or more.

      Thank You.
