As the leaves begin to fall we're preparing one and all by masquerading for the ball or decorating for the wall. Make them large or make them small. Make them any way at all! Here are tips for the beginner. Either way, you're still a winner.
Use some paper and some glue. Liquid starch will surely do. Test your skills and do your best. Imagination does the rest. Simply put it's dip and squish. Or dip and smooth if that's your wish. Squeeze the excess prior to applying strips with starch or glue. If you're working with a form, overlapping is quite the norm. Layered strips are your best bet. Just don't make them dripping wet. Once it hardens like a shell, you'll know you've done it very well.
Happy Mask Making!
