• i am in need for an intense, beautiful, wicker-manesque animal mask for halloween!

specifically: i am looking for a stag mask (deer + horns). i would love to buy a premade one, but i would love to have one made as well if it could be done in the next three weeks. contact me at briankaneda@yahoo.com if interested!

    • I'm sorry not to have sent this earlier, as now it seems you're out of time, but depending on whether you're talking about the film "The Wicker Man" and specifically the recent remake, the maskmaker behind for the designs for the masks in that film was Monica Roxburgh of Goblin Art, very talented, well-known and found at http://goblinart.com/ - although her studio is closed for now.

Otherwise, you might look at what maskmakers have the aesthetic you're looking for, and what materials you'd like - deer are such striking animals that many maskmakers tackle the subject, and you ought to have your choice of designs already, and your choice of willing artists if you want custom.

I hope you found what you were looking for, but if not, I hope this has helped, and happy Halloween!

    • Hello! I haven't been on this site in months and missed your post but I have made a beautiful deer mask made of leather, antlers, fur and feathers. If you would like to see it please email me at mesmithy@gmail.com. I know it is too late for this halloween season, but if you would still like a deer mask hand taylored to fit you for next year please drop me a line

    • CHECK OUT NEW WEBSITE http://www.maskworx.co.nz/ and http://www.photoblog.com/showoffs; illustrates a 'stag mask' using the utterly brilliant 9-step MULTIMASK SYSTEM, made by a school student for Book Week.
