Hello Again.
No problem. Should you decide, then I will help to get the word out. Just caught up in the enthusiasm.
Sticking to the subject, here are my thoughts based on my experience with the "SCRIBE" Network on line.
As an example, the "SCRIBE" Network is a place where entertainers and artisans list their services for hire to others in the Renaissance related market place. It is very similar to what you have outlined, Helge and it works well with them and their members. They provide a link and informatin about the person by category. For instance, Performers, Merchants, Sword Smiths, etc. It is quite specific. Under that, there is written the person's specialty and terms. At a glance, the person who is looking can narrow it down to specifics. It has helped me for several years.
Marketing - Think of it as a virtual art agency or gallery representative. Once your data base of applicants is completed and the listings are made, then it is a matter of putting your sellers in touch with the buyers. There is the familiar launching it on line through the search engines, etc. There are also the trade fairs and event coordinators that all help in the promotional process.
Since there is also the distiction between a job or a commission, it depends on how the artists want to approach the market. Some of us accept contracts, while others want to be hired for salary. I like the idea of Search and Offer. What will work best for us, though? We don't know until we try it.
