    • I am not too familiar with masks but have made about everthing else. I am trying to make some masks- i have done the latex from a plaster mold. I have the original plaster bandage cast from the face of the user. there are gaps between the latex and the users face that i want to be fill to conform to the face and to move with the face some. I was thinking i would use flex foam urathane. it may be unsuitable to have against the skin. I could coat that with latex i guess. is there a better way to do all of this? I am a novice a in this area so i am experimenting with the things i know. i would appreciate any suggestions on this. this is for art and not for competing in the mask market. thanks for any response out there.

    • Hi - I am Susan, Maskmakersweb..the discussion forum is not very active yet( we are so new )..I suggest you put the same question on the frontpage. If you want that, you go to menu - then tell story - Select topic: looking for - and ask there...Many more people will see it. In the link category: books videos etc..there is a video for sale on the subject, latex masks. Have you tried searching in the link section? There are many prof latexartist there. You might also get good results by joining the MASKPUPPET LISTBOT. (If you are not there already?)I know there are some experienced latexartists there. You find them here:

Mr Dave Riley who manages the list is very helpful.

      Regards Susan
